Concrete Buying Guide Sections
Choose a Concrete Section Below
The first step in concrete flooring is, obviously, the concrete. Pricing will
be determined based on the cost of materials in your local region.
Finish
The more elaborate the finish you choose (such as stamping or scoring), the more labor it will take to produce and the
more expensive your concrete floor will be.
The Artist
Concrete flooring is very much an art and often you will pay for a pro's expertise and talent. Because concrete is so
unique when colored, no two floors look the same. Much like a painter who does specialized wall finishes like faux; each
floor is a unique creation. And just as some painters charge more for their artistic ability, concrete pros may do the same.
NOTE: Keep in mind that a concrete floor installed correctly can last for a very long
time. In fact, its longevity far outpaces many other types of flooring.
