Cons
- Unsealed concrete is porous and can hold and absorb liquids
- Concrete flooring can be slippery when wet
Concrete Flooring Climate Tips
- Acidic cleaners or liquids can cause damage or dull the finish of concrete floors
- Properly seal concrete to prevent moisture from seeping into the floor
- While curing* concrete floors, protect them from extreme moisture or temperature changes
*Curing is the act of keeping concrete damp when it is first poured in order to harden it
gradually.
