- Bands

The width of concrete bands range between 6"-24". These bands are used to establish contrast within the concrete
field.
- Bleed Water
-
Also known as "water gain," this occurs when water within a concrete mix rises to the surface. Bleed water may interfere with finishing procedures.
- Bleeding (Concrete)

Occurs when the bottom color or stain bleeds through to the top coat.
- Blistering
-
A condition that occurs when gas or vapor forms underneath the film of a finishing product, causing bubbles. Blistering usually happens as a result of excessive heat, moisture or contamination.
- Bond

The adhesion of one material to another.
- Bond Breaker

A substance that prevents adhesion of one material to another.
- Bonding Agent

A mallet or hammer with pyramid-shaped points that is often used to roughen wet concrete.
