One of the greatest advantages of vinyl flooring is the way it can be made to imitate many different types of flooring. You can find vinyl floors that imitate tile, wood, or stone flooring, and all without the expense of some of those materials. Unless you say so, it's likely that no one will know your vinyl floors are not what they appear to be. So why not have fun with it?

Try bringing a quirky edge to a room with the addition of vinyl furniture. Outside of flooring, vinyl is known for imitating leather, another generally expensive material. Just like you're getting "wood", "tile", or "stone" floors for a fraction of a cost, you can get the look of leather with less costly vinyl furniture.

A simple way to incorporate vinyl furniture is with a vinyl couch or chair. This brings the luxurious look of leather furniture and classes up a living room or den without a lot of effort. Try deep shades like wine or chocolate brown, and keep the room low lit with table lamps for ambience.

Vinyl flooring and furniture are also great for the bar. A few vinyl bar stools parked at the wet bar help create the convivial atmosphere of the local pub without the five dollar charge for a cold one. You can get a great retro look going with brightly-colored barstools and a personalized bar sign, along with any touristy tchotchkes you have lying around from the last time you vacationed.

Finally, don't forget you can integrate vinyl furniture into a casual space with that romper room classic, the beanbag chair. Vinyl flooring is great for a playroom, so spice up the space with some primary-colored beanbags and cushier vinyl chairs for when the teenagers take over.

We are gearing up for spring and are sprucing up our backyard to make it BBQ friendly! We bought vinyl black bar stool chairs at Target. They are awesome! They weren't too expensive plus Target offers 15% off any purchase over 150 bucks for these! I'm not sure if this is a limited time deal or not so double check. It was a great deal and it works well with out backyard too. If anyone is looking for new barstools at an affordable price go to Target or Target.com
