Would you recommend buying an art silk rug and how do you tell them from regular silk?

RE: should I buy art silk?
I personally would not buy art silk as it does not hold up like real silk. The problem is that it is almost impossible to tell the difference by eye. There is a burn test, but that is not good for obvious reasons (you have to burn some of the rug!!)

Hey artsilk rugs are also a nice choice as the quality is good. I personally like the combination of wool and artsilk rugs. I have purchased my area rugs at www.rugsandblinds.com/
