My bathroom is all red, black, and white and very contemporary.  I am retiling the floor using 4X4 porcelain tiles.  I have black tile and white tiles that I am going to create a checker pattern with.  In the center of the floor, I want to create a centerpiece with red, black, and white porcelain tiles that are 1 X 1.  Any ideas for a design that I can create with these? Thanks in advance.

RE: need bathroom floor centerpiece ideas
There are many websites with tile mosaic ideas so I would search the web. It is also helpful to visit local tile showrooms for ideas. One idea for a rectangular shaped centerpiece is to create a border using the 1" red tiles and fill the center with the 1" black and white tiles checkerboard style run on a diagonal. This centerpiece would be surrounded by your 4" black and white checkerboard tiles run on a straight pattern.

I like Michael's idea.  I would do something like that and maybe add a chinese symbol in the middle.  One that means something to you.  Just an idea.  Good Luck!
