Are there any wet/dry vacs on the market that would be ok to use on a new bamboo floor?  I find that using the type of mops suggested take a lot of muscle power and still don't clean up smudges and brooms suggested don't pick up everything.

RE: Bamboo and Wet/Dry Vacs
You can use a vacuum without a beater bar to suck up dirt and debris.  Beater bars can scratch the finish layer.  As far as using a wet/dry vac in place of a mop, I would not recommend it.  I would assume that you would be putting a lot of water down and then sucking it up when you should only damp mop bamboo.  You don't want water to get in between the planks because the bamboo can absorb it and swell.  Here is a link to full bamoo maintenance instructions.  www.findanyfloor.com/bamboo/Bamboo...  Let me know if you need any more help forum image
