Hi everyone,

Just had tile installed.  My installer left about 6 hours ago.  Is it safe to go ahead and put my stove and refrigerator back in place now?  If not, how long should I wait and are there are precautions that I should take when moving appliances over the tile.

Thanks

RE: tile drying time
Hello Grandpabush,

Tile adhesive takes about 24 hours minimum to dry. The same goes for grout. I would wait at least that long.

Once your tile is dry, use a dolly to move your stove back, or place it on an upside down rug and carefully drag it across. Hopefully your refrigerator has wheels so you can safely roll it across your tile. Make sure you have someone assist you, this is a two person job.
