We are redoing my daughter’s bedroom. She has allergies so we are tearing up the carpet. She loves pink and purple and I would like to find a hypoallergenic floor that comes in a variety of pinks and purples so that I can find one that matches the wall paint. Her room is above grade. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Try vinyl flooring. It has a solid surface that can easily be cleaned.

Michael, a good choice may also be vinyl composition tile which can be layed in a pattern that the little girl may like.

What about linoleum? I've heard it's considered more green than vinyl. You might be able to find Marmoleum by Forbo in pink and green. Good luck!
