what will give a cool feel besides tile?

We live in a very hot climate. My dog loved lying on the old tile in my kitchen as it was cool on hot sunny days. I replaced it with cork and now he doesn’t have that satisfaction. We are redoing the entryway from our front door to our kitchen now. Is there anything other than tile that will give us this cool feel?

Stamped concrete or terrazzo is another option.

Thanks for the suggestions, Del and Michael. I think I will do a high quality vinyl. After reading about it on this site, I think it will fit my budget and needs best. Thanks again!
