I live in a very hot, humid climate and I am trying to find a wood floor that will be okay to use in my basement. Everyone says it’s not recommended. Is there any type I can use?

RE: wood floor for hot, humid climate
Use an engineered, very solid hardwood with heavy duty moisture barrier and controlled climate in the room.
