Hey everyone. My son is in a power wheelchair and when he enters our home, his wheelchair is tracking in a ton of dirt and mud. I think I should lay a long rug at the door, but I don't know what kind will be safe for my hardwood floors and will clean the mud off the wheels best. Any ideas?

RE: rug for hardwood floors
You should get a rug without a rubber backing.  Rubber backings can stain the floor.  A longer pile will tend to hold the dirt in place.
