I am installing over concrete. Do I need to go back and buy a moisture barrier?

It is recommended that a moisture barrier is used on any below grade or concrete floors.

crary, please be very attentive to the manufacturer's directions.  i have seen many problems with bamboo in basements.

I agree with Jerry and Jim.  You need to use a moisture barrier over concrete.  Check out the bamboo installation guide.  It will walk you through the process.
