What is the tool that you use to stretch carpet called and where can I get one?

Carpet installation requires a few special tools. The most important is the carpet streacher followed by a carpet knife, knee kicker and possibly a seaming iron. Most rental stores sh ould have these tools availiable for rent

An edge cutter would also be useful for trimming around walls.
