I am looking to install hardwood flooring in my home, and I am noticing that there several different methods for installation; glue down, nail and staple, click lock floating, and engineered floating. Which method is the simplest and the most user friendly?

A floating method is going to be the most user friendly. A click and lock floor will generally be held together without the use of any glue or nails. You also mention engineered floating. Engineered is not an installation method, but a construction method. You are probably thinking of a regular floating tongue and groove floor, which are often engineered. I hope that answers your question.

Thanks gpadden! I guess I was a little confused about engineered floors. Thanks for straightening that out for me.
