I must find a way to transition my laminate flor at a point where it meets the living room carpet. The problem is the carpet has an "s" curve, and most transition pieces are made for straight edges. Please help with info on this.

RE: Transition laminate floor with"s" shaped radii to carpet
Some manufacturers sell custom floor transitions.  Here is a link to a list of manufacturers that may be able to help you www.thomasnet.com/products/tmoldin... or a local carpenter may be able to manufacturer one for you.

Some hardwood (not laminate) transition strips can be bent but you may want to hire a professional to take that on.  White ash or oak bends well, but you will want to find something that matches that laminate and bends easily.

Hope that helps you.  Let me know if you have any other questions.
