I have two windows in the room that I am installing laminate flooring. One points North and the other East. How do I know which one to choose in order to decide which direction to lay my planks?

A normal practice is to lay the flooring lengthwise to the long part of the room. If light will determine which way you lay the floor, loose lay it both directions and then make your determination.

I will try loose laying to determine what I like. I appreciate your help.
