Do I need some kind of barrier between my concrete subfloor and the linoleum?

RE: Do I need a barrier?
No. You just need to make sure that the subfloor passes a moisture test as well as calcium chloride ad pH alkalinity test.

RE: Do I need a barrier?
Sorry it took me so long to reply. My flooring project got put off until after the holidays. I'm going this weekend and buying vinyl tiles. From what I read, those should be easier to self-install.
