What type of subfloors are safe to put rubber flooring over?  Thanks

Concrete and plywood subfloors are recommended.  Concrete must be fully cured and I recommend at least 60 days old.You may be able to lay rubber flooring over some types of existing flooring, but you have to remember that usually there are adhesives used in the installation that must bond properly to the subfloor.  Check with the manufacturer if you plan to install over something unusual.

Concrete subfloors are always recommended in this regard.
