Would you recommend vinyl tiles for someone who will be installing it themselves as a first time flooring project?

Sure. Vinyl tile is one of the easiest types of flooring to diy. I would recommend a small area like a small bathroom or laundry room first before tackling a 600 s.f. kitchen, dining and entry, but that 's just me. Be sure to snap a chalk line to make sure you stay straight and follow all manufacturer recommendations on adhesive (if applicable). Vinyl fencing is more exciting that you can imagine and not just a matter for providing privacy from your neighbor next door. At first glance, it appears to be a difficult task to accomplish as many people believe, but if you enjoy do-it-by-yourself, you will find that a vinyl fence has certain attractive aspects.
