Hoping someone can help - I am looking for some recommendations for my kitchen that will create a country feel but can withstand every day kitchen abuse. I prefer something in beige, neutral, earth colors.

Vinyl flooring is available in many earth tones including stone, tile and wood patterns.

If you are looking for extreme durability in a wet area I would recommend porcelain tile. It comes in a wide array of styles to match any look you are trying to create.

Many of the travertine natural stone floors will give you the look of a European country floor and is most certainly durable. There are also porcelain tiles that have the country look you prefer.

Try cork or bamboo. Both work well in the kitchen when properly cared for. Cork is excellent underfoot when cooking or doing dishes! I love having it in my kitchen.
