I am interested in purchasing medium brown colored carbonized strand bamboo for a 1,200sf greatroom. The room faces north and gets no direct sunlight however the ceiling peaks at 17' and has a north facing large bank of windows bringing in lots of natural light but no direct light.  Will this type of bamboo likely fade much?

RE: Fading of Carb.Strand Bamboo
Being that your bamboo floors won't be in direct sunlight, the fading will be minimal - not enough to stop you from purchasing them. A UV coating is used on some bamboo to help resist fading. You may also choose to move your area rugs or large furniture around from time to time if you begin to see some fading. This will allow equal exposure so that the floor fades evenly.
