Is strand woven and engineered bamboo the same thing? If not, how do they differ and what is more durable?

RE: strand woven and engineered - same thing?
Not they are technically different. Engineered bamboo is a veneer of bamboo adhered to plies of wood. Strand woven is small strands of bamboo compressed together under very high pressure creating the most dense bamboo.
