Has anyone ever used carpet with corn based fibers? If so, would you recommend it?

RE: corn based fibers?
I’ve never tried it, but I’ve read that corn based fibers start with corn that is cooked and ground into corn starch which then is converted into a sugar. A chemical reaction turns the sugar into plastic which is formed into fibers about the thickness of human hair. This is used to make the carpet.

RE: corn based fibers?
I would recommend it for its environmental friendliness. It’s a renewable resource and it’s biodegradable. They can spray a product on it that can cause it to decompose quickly.
