My husband and I are in the market for new laminate flooring and we are wondering if there is certification or rating system to tell what quality the laminate is. Thanks for any help!

Look for the laminate’s AC rating. Really, it is a 1-5 scale with 5 being the most durable, but Pergo does offer an AC6 rating for 1 product. Since they brought laminate into the US, they think they can do that

Thanks for your help!  My husband and I are finally getting around to shopping for laminate this weekend.  I found lots of great info on this site, and with your help I'm confidant that I will choose a quality laminate.
