How do I know if I need to purchase an isolation membrane? I am installing tile in my basement over concrete. Thanks

If installing over a concrete slab, it is always a good idea. Otherwise existing or future slab cracks will transfer to your tile, resulting in a costly repair.

Glad I could help. Installing tile on a slab without a membrane is a gamble.
