RE: cleaning marble
Marble floors, particularly polished marble, is very susceptible to scratches. Therefore, it is advised that you vacuum (without using the beater bar) rather than sweep. Use a pH neutral cleaner designed for marble floors. You can further protect the surface as well as create a nice shine by buffing on a liquid marble polish.

RE: cleaning marble
Thanks Michael. I appreciate the advice. I have another question...What is a beater bar? Is that the thing that spins that most vacuums have? If so, how do I vacuum without it? I have a barefloor setting that raises it I believe. Is that fine to use? thanks in advance!
