Not necessarily. The seams may allow water to reach subfloor, adhesive may be water soluble...

it is not water proof.

because we need use glue to install the vinyl tile.

when a lof water stay on it long time ,the property will be changed ,it will arise shrinkage,color variation and so on.

you 'd better use it indoor.
