My dog is tearing up all the corners of the carpets in my house. Any tips on how to get him to stop?

I know they make spray on products that you can find in the pet isle that will repel your pet from visiting areas of your home. You might try that, but I don't know if it may leave a residue on your carpets. I personally don't like the smell of them, so it repels me too

RE: dog tearing up carpet
I had a friend whose black lab puppy not only tore up his carpet but his couch as well. I installed tile throughout his entire house, which is much easier to keep clean, and the dog won't rip it to shreds like carpet.

If your dog is doing this when you have left him home alone I would reccomend that you isolate him to a room with hard surface like Michael suggested.

I'm no expert, but I have had excellent success with kennel training two dogs.
