I have a few little marks on my bamboo floor. Should I use steel wool to try to buff them out?

RE: steel wool to buff?
No, this will ruin surface shine. You may try to use a pencil paint brush and some polyurethane to lightly fill the scratches and smooth them out.

DarrenP, If the marks are scratches MrsKosha's method will work well for you, if they are simply marks on the finish I would try mineral spirits but be sure to do a test in a non conspicuous place before applying to the marks.
