Most professional carpet cleaners say they can't get mustard out most of the time. Has anyone had success with this?

Scrape off as much as the must as you can. Then use a cleaning product called Capture that you probably get at Home Depot or Lowe's. You may have to use it several times and the stain may not completely be removed.

I don't know of any products that are guaranteed to work for mustard stains. The carpet fibers have been thoroughly dyed from the yellow mustard.

You may need to replace the section that has been stained.

Well if it got stained that it would hardly go,as if you fall something on it,its good if you clean it as soon as possible or else it leaves the stain.

Dishwashing detergent is helpful in cleaning the mustard stain.
