I have a deep gouge in one of my laminate strips. It is about ¼” deep and wide and 2” long. Can this be repaired or does the plank need to be replaced and how is this done?

A repair can be made with a repair kit from the mfg but it will remain visible. To replace the board (if you have a click together floor) go to the nearest wall, remove the base molding, unclick the floor to the damaged plank, insert a new one and re-install the removed planks.
