I want to do a really unique and colorful pattern in my bathroom that will extend from the floor up to the surface around my bathtub and into the shower on the floor and walls. I was thinking ceramic tile but wanted to know what other options will create the look I want.

I would start with a rough idea of the colors and patterns you want to use and then you can combine stone glass and ceramic to achieve the color palate you desire.

There are many alternatives such as tiles made from recycled glass, natural stone, smooth rocks, and metal tiles.

Ceramic and stone can be used with glass liners or listellos that will give you a colorful and unique look.
