Would you prefer hardwood, bamboo, or cork in an on grade living room? We also have pets and children.

All of the options have their own appeal but I prefer engineered hardwood with an aluminum oxide finish.

Personally I would choose cork. It is hypoallergenic and resists mold, among other benefits. It’s also feels soft underfoot and gives slightly which is great on pet’s joints and kids who may take a tumble.

All of these will work for you but you will have to take precautions because of your pets and children.
