Is there a way to estimate how much flooring I need to purchase in order to refloor my livingroom?

It depends on the type of flooring you are putting down. What did you have in mind?

Check out this link for a really neat tool that will help you measure your room, add angles and non-flooring areas, and then determine the final cost of your project.
