Has anyone ever heard of or tried Polyurethane trim? If so, what do you think of it?

RE: Polyurethane trim?
I have not personally used it, but I can tell you what I have heard.  It costs less than hardwood, but it may ding easier than hardwood and there may some nail-pop issues.  If you have to buy a lot of trim and are on a tight budget, I think it would be a good choice.  Just be careful not to ding it up.
