I moved into an apartment that originally had no-was floors. Last tenant used floor polish or was on the floors.  How can I remove the old polish. It is realy built up around baseboard, etc and horriably unsightful. Looks unclean. Youc an also rent an electric floor scrubber to make the process easier. Hope that helps! It's the filth I can't stand. Looks unclean and unhealthy.  I know that I will have to use a very,very light coat of polish on them and clean with clean, warm water after that.  I have to make sure all spills are cleaned up immediatly.  Ha, tell that to my 3 grandchildre (7, 6, 4).
